The Tinkering School
… “I understand my child may be injured or killed at this camp.”

I find the idea very intruiging. Not the idea of a child being injured or killed, but allowing children to build, explore, experiment, get hurt (nothing major), and learn from mistakes. What good are we doing when we tell a child they cannot do “X” cause it’s dangerous. Well, you were a child, did you still do “X”.
Maybe I need to put it into perspective? Do you support teaching children a comprehensive sex ed class? Or do you support training children on proper handling of guns (if you own them)? Why?
Probably because like me you think education in children leads to smarter choices or better decision making, and hopefully the correct choice being chosen more often than the wrong one. Why limit this?

Welcome to my blog! Topics tend to focus on Science and Technology, but I throw in personal stuff too. I hope you enjoy!
