Why we don’t Need People Like Friedman?

Because all they do is instill doubt and hopelessness in people about Global Warming and what can be done. And shame on him for doing so. Friedman is intelligent, he travels places he talks about, has been around the world, understands a lot about foreign policy, and people listen to him. Especially since his is a columnist at NYTimes.
James shares my sentiments on this issue and pretty much shows why Friedman is an ass.

Welcome to my blog! Topics tend to focus on Science and Technology, but I throw in personal stuff too. I hope you enjoy!

I think part of the problem, Webs, is that people like Friedman live in a world very isolated from the concerns of most people.

Well it’s almost depressing because of his strong opportunity to use his knowledge to spread ideas and solutions to many people. And instead he chooses to waste them like this. He is one person I stopped reading awhile ago, along with the Freakonomic authors.
