What Would you do if These Kids Were Yours?
Would you ground the kids and “chew them out”. Or would you look at their creation, see the engineering, math, and visual-spatial skills involved with the creation and congratulate them?

Me? First I would throw on some swim trunks and give the baby a go!!! Then I would have my kid and the friends document the work they did, and study the science behind it with them. Last I would make them take it down and talk to my kid about doing these kinds of things. I really don’t think I would have a problem with it, but I need to make sure his/her next project won’t blow up the house.
Chastising a child for this kind of creativity and engineering would be incredibly counterproductive to his/her learning. So you wouldn’t see me doing that.
