First Day of Teaching Woes…
Today was the first day of the class I am teaching. All went well besides the fact the wrong book was ordered for me. And to make matters worse the students also were told to order the wrong book. And I actually had a book wayyyyyy to advanced for the class, which was a different book from what the students have.
The whole situation sucks since I now have to pull lessons out my butt and come up with things on the fly. Oh well, you make do with what you have.

Thanks! On a whim I came up with a damn good assignment that appears to have saved my ass. The dept told me the book will be in this week. So I guess I am back on track.
As an older faculty member told me, “Welcome to teaching!”
