Boothbox Revisted
So it’s time to get Boothbox working with Dell hardware, here is where I currently stand:
- I need to get Boothbox to run with different hardware that it is not already configured to run with
- I need to test Boothbox with Qemu so I don’t have to use a CD every time I update the image
- Getting Boothbox to run with multiple NIC installed would be fantastic
- The sooner the better
So far I have Qemu working. I have tested it by installing Windows XP. Installing Qemu was not too terribly difficult, I just followed this guide, and everything worked perfectly. Which is nice considering Linux is known for not having this kind of user friendliness.
My next step is to get a Boothbox ISO and test it to see what happens.

Welcome to my blog! Topics tend to focus on Science and Technology, but I throw in personal stuff too. I hope you enjoy!
