This is a cool site on global warming. It has a lot of well laid out information, as well as a carbon calculator. A few websites have these now and it allows you to see your carbon footprint.
There is also a good page located here on the site that has some great tips on reducing your carbon print. Some of the best tips are: thermostat, car, water heater, shower, and buy products locally. The last one is my favorite. I love the local farmers market. Great food, great price, very eco-friendly, and supporting local business and families. All great stuff!
