Office 2007 Beta & New House Info
Hi Jon & Katie,
Thought you might want to know Jon that Microsoft has released a beta version of Office 2007 that you can download at:

Microsoft!?!? BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I use OpenOffice.org now. The only need I have for Microsoft is for Visio and Project. If it wasn't for Linuxes lax PC game compatibility I would have switched over completely. But that's something to hope for.
Good luck with your new house man that's awesome, I can't wait to see it.

Linux, what's that newer heard of it. Must be something some kids designed that businesses, colleges or hospitals would never use. Microsoft is the way of the future. We would love to have you guys over it'll be fun!

Actually hospitals all over the world use Linux, but mostly Unix for their equipment. Would you really trust an EKG machine that had to be rebooted all the time, that was slow to load up, and required daily checking of problems. Must I use the GM example of why Microsoft wouldn't be better.
If you do decide to build a MythTV box with me it will be fun watching your mouth water over Linux.

I don't understand Jon. You act as though Microsoft has security problems and that the operating system is not stable. Is this true? I would love to build a Mythbox with you. Let me know when and I'll come down. Yes my mouth may "water over linux" if by that you mean throwing up in discust over what a poor OS linux is compared to Microsoft, lol.
