HP/Compaq Rocks
Being a computer geek for the last 6 years I thought I would never had made the above statement, but I must say I am impressed with the company. I ordered a laptop from Compaq last December and I have loved it ever since. The laptop is well engineered, quiet, powerful, and sexy. It is perhaps one of the best systems I will ever own. I made sure to get the accidental insurance for it since I am incredibly clumsy. And it payed off.
Like an idiot, I stepped on the power cord of the laptop when it was plugged in, and I ripped out the AC Adapter port plug. This is the tiny little piece that your power cord plugs into, that is inside the hole where the power cord goes into the laptop. Even though the power cord looks like a male plug, it is actually female, and the male plug is the tiny piece that I am trying to explain to you. Normally it is not detrimental to the laptop to lose this piece, since if it comes out, it is going to come out with the power cord. This was the case for me, but after using the laptop for awhile and not realizing that the piece was missing before little battery life was left, this created a huge issue for me. The only problem I have had so far with the company was when I was trying to explain the aforementioned problem to the tech support person. They were not American, which did not help and I had to tell them the problem had nothing to do with the power cord multiple times. It was a fun experience explaining my problem. But once we were on the same page, everything else was a breeze. FedEx is being sent out the next day to pick up the laptop for me. All I have to do is box it up. I am a very happy customer and I must say I can definitely recommend HP/Compaq computers and laptops.

Welcome to my blog! Topics tend to focus on Science and Technology, but I throw in personal stuff too. I hope you enjoy!
